The excursion

Departure at 8:30 am by vehicle to reach Chanty Beach, the boarding point for Nosy Sakatia (a direct departure from Ambatoloaka is also possible). Nicknamed the orchid island, Sakatia lies just off the west coast of Nosy Be, only a few minutes away by boat.

The highlight of the day is snorkelling in a natural pool that is home to giant turtles, which you can watch up close in crystal-clear waters. The rest of the day is spent swimming and relaxing on the beach, in an unspoilt and peaceful setting.
