Nosy Iranja

The excursion

Departure at 8:30 am from Ambatoloaka beach aboard a shared speedboat. Nosy Iranja lies 45 km south of Nosy Be, about 1h30 of sailing. It is one of the most iconic sites in the region: two idyllic islets linked by a magnificent white sandbar roughly a kilometre long, which you can cross on foot at low tide.

The island is also a sanctuary where sea turtles come to lay their eggs. Turquoise waters, pristine sand and untouched nature: Nosy Iranja is often listed among the most beautiful beaches in Madagascar.
